John The fit of this jacket was perfect for me. I usually wear a large, and that’s what I went with here. 5”10, 185-190lbs. The jacket fits great and allows a little room for a sweater underneath. The shearling is pretty thick, and would allow you to shear it down if need be. The sleeve length is perfect. I wear a 34” sleeve in a dress shirt for reference.
The shearling and leather is indeed 100% real, as are the pull tabs, and straps. I have not been able to find any poor stitching, thins spots, or any other issues with this jacket. It’s does have an odor like it’s been on a ship for awhile…. Kind of musty. I hung it outside for a few hours, and the smell is gone. Just needed to air out.
